Confirm the load and installation details before choosing a unit.
What generator capacity do I need?
Send a list or photos of the equipment to be powered, its rated load and the items that run together. Motor starting can require more power than normal running. Confirm voltage and phase too; capacity must be assessed against the actual load, not chosen from floor area alone.
What should the rental or purchase quote include?
Confirm the exact model, capacity, condition and hire dates or purchase terms. Ask whether delivery, collection, fuel arrangements, cables, distribution equipment and installation are included or priced separately. Warranty terms must be confirmed for the offered unit.
Where can a fuel-powered generator be used?
Fuel-powered generators produce carbon monoxide. Do not operate them indoors or in enclosed spaces. Plan an outdoor location away from doors, windows and air intakes, and have electrical connection and switching arranged by a qualified professional.
