1 ton roller compactor rental: plan the job before hiring
Start a 1 ton roller rental enquiry with the material, work area, location and proposed dates. Then confirm the actual model, site access and complete hire terms; the category name alone does not establish operating weight.
Planning a project?
Share the job, location and dates. Add the hire period if renting.
You can enquire before choosing a model. Technical details can follow.
Start with the job and hire dates
You can start with a work description, location and proposed dates even if the model is undecided. Use the short roller enquiry, choose Rental or Not sure yet, and discuss the material, access photos and project requirements on WhatsApp.
- No model has been specified: use the 1, 2 and 3 ton comparison. If the request says “baby roller”, first check the walk-behind and ride-on distinction.
- A model or minimum weight is required: check what the 1-ton label means, then attach the requirement to the enquiry for the actual unit.
- You are comparing hire quotations: go to the complete hire-cost checklist and compare transport, operator arrangements and hire dates alongside the machine rate.
Check what “1 ton” means for the offered unit
Do not treat a category name as an exact operating weight. Kyusen’s 1 TON Roller Compactor For Rental listing identifies an LP6500, while its specification table lists 0.7 t weight and 0.65 m roller width. That difference is a reason to request the precise model and specification sheet. It does not mean all rollers in the category have those figures. Catalogue reference
Ask whether the quoted weight is an operating weight and what configuration it covers. If your project requires a particular tonnage, give the supplier that requirement before confirming a booking.
The Atlas Copco LP6500 rental detail page brings the published model references and unit questions together. Use it to discuss that model, then ask Kyusen to confirm its condition and availability for your dates.
Describe the material and working area
Send photos and explain whether the job involves asphalt, granular fill or another material. Include the approximate area, restricted edges and the project’s compaction requirements. The LP6500 description refers to thin layers of granular soil and asphalt; it does not establish suitability for every site or a required number of passes. Catalogue application
A larger tonnage is not enough information to choose a machine. Ask the site team to confirm the required roller type, working width and method against the project specification. You can discuss the available options on the roller rental page.
Check delivery and the route to the work
Give the delivery address and a photo of the unloading point. Measure the narrowest entrance and describe steps, slopes, soft ground or restricted vehicle access. Machine width and transport arrangements must be checked for the actual unit, including any accessories.
Agree who handles unloading and movement on site. State whether you need an operator; confirm this in the quotation rather than assuming the hire includes one.
Compare the complete hire cost
Ask for the rental period and any minimum hire term, delivery and collection, operator arrangements, fuel responsibility and any deposit or extension charges. These are quotation questions, not a list of charges that Kyusen always applies.
For example, two quotes for a week cannot be compared fairly if one includes collection and the other does not. Also confirm the booked dates, daily working hours and the process for extending or ending the hire.
Use the rental-period and delivery checklist when agreeing the start/end of hire and transport responsibilities. Send the proposed period in the roller enquiry form; the quotation must confirm the supported period, minimum term and included services for the offered machine and location.
Prepare one complete enquiry
Include the work description, project specification if available, location, access photos and hire dates. Add your preferred model only if it is a requirement. Ask Kyusen to confirm the exact unit, condition and current availability in writing. A catalogue entry or equipment photo alone does not reserve a machine.
If you want to buy instead, choose Purchase in the same enquiry form. Ask for a separate offer identifying the machine, condition, inspection opportunity and written sale terms. A rental listing does not establish current sale stock or a purchase price.
Send the job details for a roller rental quote
Share the material, work area, location and proposed dates first. Add access measurements/photos, delivery and operator needs, and any specified model or weight requirement if known. Kyusen can confirm what else is needed for the unit check and quotation.
